CE Marking is a requirement for products sold in the European Union. The CE Marking process is based on the principle of the free movement of goods, people, and services within the EU.
As a result, no EU country can prevent a CE-marked product from being sold or marketed within its territory.
Provided that no modifications are made to the unit in question, the CE Marking has no expiry date.
However, it may be necessary to have the Marking updated, if the Reference Standards change.
